Post It Note Poems
and curious, her shell
became like light fog
spun
forming space
until shone out
a groaning silk of
green
mountain top-loud
it shone
there’s a wind on
the many tips of branches
my eyes glaze up and
out my headless heart
is restrung:
a string for each flitting
corner of skirt
a string for blue hiding
under whippet clouds
a string for my own
bastard springtime of a life
I am seldom thinking
you force in
or are otherwise invited
Beautiful chance
We both know a perfect night
Cloudless skies unseen
Our foreheads pressed then
Minds blurred by touch
and don’t even mention your eyes
fall down your hands
they are not needed
nor eyes neither flat nor arched foot
find home here, here, here
touch sternum then forget the bone
breathe in all that is true
and loosen your brow’s grip on fear
soak your jaw in that which is released
the light meets you
Turned inside out
and now, stalks
into the ground.
How far can it go, really.
Looks at self for self's
sake, withers.
The in, out, but sacrificed.
The glowing light,
diminished.
i found one
then and the
flatness spoke for
me and some
certain thing emerged
with or by
another terrible lie
shirking everything
below or known and unknown.
you withhold your deeper heart
and i the flame, boring
the old woodchip
into blessed senselessness
the eve of this day, grey,
knew better
infatuated with anarchic end
i robbed the tomb of you
by feel
i sought out a friend of mine
divulged my hand out of mist
almost the membrane differed
or applied i felt deliriously
i was foolish once and again
the memory works to dilate
that which suffers itself clear
